Guru Nanak in his Babarvaani hymn in Raga Tilang says:

ਆਵਨਿ ਅਠਤਰੈ ਜਾਨਿ ਸਤਾਨਵੈ ਹੋਰੁ ਭੀ ਉਠਸੀ ਮਰਦ ਕਾ ਚੇਲਾ 
Coming in seventy-eight (1521 A.D.), they will depart in ninety-seven (1540 A.D.),
and then another strongman will rise up.
(Sri Guru Granth Sahib p 723)

In our evening prayer Sohilaa, we recite:
ਵਿਸੁਏ ਚਸਿਆ ਘੜੀਆ ਪਹਰਾ ਥਿਤੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਮਾਹੁ ਹੋਆ 
The seconds, minutes and hours, days, weeks and months…

In Sri Guru Granth Sahib, we have the following compositions:

i) ਥਿਤੀ ਗਉੜੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ (SGGS p 296-300)
Tithi ~ The Lunar Days: Gauree, Fifth Mehl

ii) ਰਾਗੁ ਗਉੜੀ ਥਿਤੀ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਕੀ॥ Raag Gauree, Tithi ~ The Lunar Days Of Kabeer Jee:

ਪੰਦ੍ਰਹ ਥਿਤੀ ਸਾਤ ਵਾਰ ॥ There are fifteen lunar days, and seven days of the week. (SGGS p 343-44)

iii) ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੧ ਥਿਤੀ ਘਰੁ ੧੦ ਜਤਿ (SGGS p 838-40

All these units of time, described in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, are part of the lunar Calendar. And to understand the hymns in Sri Guru Granth Sahib and live our life according to Gurmat philosophy, we are supposed to understand these units of time. Why the followers of Guru Nanak discard the Bikrami Calendar, used by Guru Nanak in his Babarvani, quoted above? When we will try to interpret these hymns even according to Hindu Saka Calendar (Samvat), the entire interpretation will be historically misleading. All the theologians have interpreted this hymn of Guru Nanak according to Bikrami Samvat.

In July 1994, a South African teacher, Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, aptly described the separate identity of the Sikhs, given by the Gurus, when he said: “The Turbaned Sikh looks like a lion; the rest of us look like sheeps, afraid to be identified (The Toronto Sun, July 11, 1994).” Strange are the Sikhs, who have found the Indian National Saka Calendar in the garb of Nanakshahi Calendar, as symbol of their separate identity. Here we are reminded of a Sloka of Guru Angad Sahib:

ਨਾਉ ਫਕੀਰੈ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਮੂਰਖ ਪੰਡਿਤੁ ਨਾਉ ॥ The beggar is known as an emperor, and the fool is known as a religious scholar.
ਅੰਧੇ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ਪਾਰਖੂ ਏਵੈ ਕਰੇ ਗੁਆਉ ॥ The blind man is known as a seer; this is how people talk. (SGGS p 1288)

Our Gurpurabs are not seasonal festivals but historical events. By changing our historical dates to suit seasonal changes, and adding a difference of 14 days, we have already converted our established facts of history into mythology by the ingenious device of Mr Pal Singh Purewal. There is a classical example: In 1995, Purewal considered Asu Vadi 10, 1596 BK/September 7, 1539 AD as the correct date of death of Guru Nanak but in the so-called Nanakshahi Calendar he has fixed September 22, 151539 AD as the date of death of Guru Nanak as well as date of succession of Guru Angad. With this willful distortion, Guru Nanak is made to nominate his successor Guru Angad, fifteen days after his death.

Only lunar calendar has been considered original, perfect and correct, and seasonal calendar will always be running in advance due to the precession of the Sun. Even the western thinkers too have subscribed to this view:
i) Natural time was God’s Time, and time interpreted by an authority, such as the Church can be mistaken (Roger Bacon, 1214-1292 AD).
ii) The Authority of God’s Time superseded the others (Veneralbe Bede, 673-735 AD).

That’s why all the religious calendars of the world are lunar to ensure accuracy and avoid confusion. For this reason Crescent Moon (Al-Qamar) is the

Religious emblem of Islam, derived from the Quranic Sura (36:39) recognition of waxing waning of the Moon as a sign of God’s Unchanging  Purpose and Control.

In the so-called Nanakshahi Calendar, out of 95 festivals mentioned, 74 (77%) are related to Sikhism, and all the dates fixed are wrong; whereas 21 (27%) festivals are of other religions, and the dates have been correctly fixed. How these blind supporters are supporting such a Calendar, which is impure, distorted and misleading. It reminds us of an adage: Blind leading the blinds, and we request to all of them:Look before you leap, read before you speak!”

Nanakshahi Calendar : A Historical Blunder

 

The so-called Sikh Calendar, presented to the Sikh world as Nanakshahi Calendar by learned fraternity of Chandigarh, known for creating controversies and backing the adversaries of Sikh Panth, Gurbaksh Singh Kala Afghana openly, backed Sardar Pal Singh Purewal, Government’s sponsored campaign to distort the Sikh history, and introduce a new Calendar in the sacred name of Guru Nanak.

Here it is pertinent to mention the following two facts:

  • The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandak Committee (SGPC) neither passed any resolution for replacing the existing Sikh Calendar nor entrusted the job to Pal Singh Purewal.
  • Pal Singh Purewal Singh’s Jantri 500 Years was published by Punjab School Education Board in 1994 during the tenure of Chief Minister Beant Singh,whereas the Board is supposed to publish the text books for the school students with the quota of paper supplied to it. This was the first and last book, meant for researchers, published by the board.

Here, I may add that when this very Jantri of Purewal was extensively quoted to question the wisdom of Mr Purewal, all the copies of this Jantri  were exported to Canada. With this Jantri of Purewal, the Institute of Sikh Studies, Chandigarh, in its meeting dated November 27, 1995, prepared the Sikh Calendar within two hours, and presented to the SGPC through Dr Kharak Singh, member Dharm Parchar Committee of the SGPC to replace the traditional Sikh Calendar with distorted dates and history of the Sikhs in this so-called Nanakshahi Calendar.  

In the Calendar, Pal Singh Purewal and his associates have taken the shelter of mendacious assertions and perfidious lies and till date neither Purewal nor his associates, could either confront or controvert or weaken in any manner the following historical facts pointed out by me and other scholars exposing the misleading lies of Mr Purewal:

  1. Before introduction of this distorted Calendar, a Sikh Calendar was/is used, and Nanakshahi Samvat was also used. This fact has been highlighted in 1993, long before the so-called Nanakshahi Calendar was introduced, in the Oxford Dictionary of World Religions (EdJohn Bowker): “The Sikhs’ religious Calendar is a modified form of the Bikrami Calendar.” (p 188). The first perfidy of Mr Purewal was exposed, who claimed that he is the architect of the Sikh Calendar.
  2. Secondly, the tall claim of Mr Purewal that he is the maker of Nanakshahi Calendar, which is original, was also exposed as it is nothing but a carbon copy of the National Calendar of India, introduced in March 1957 by Indian Government as a Civil Calendar, and is based on Saka Calendar, on which the Hindu Religious Calendar is also based. In the Nanakshahi Calendar and the National Calendar of India, five months are of 31 days and seven months are of 30 days. Whereas in Saka Hindu Calendar the month of Chet is of 31 days in during leap year and in Nanakshahi the month of Phagan is of 31 days. Mr Purewal has confirmed this fact in his book Jantri 500 Years,saying “The Saka year that starts in Common Era leap year will also be a leap year. The year will always begin on March 21 is a leap year. This way the months of the Saka Era will maintain constant relationship with those of CommonEra.” (p iv). In this way, Mr Purewal cleverly introduced the National Calendar of India, based on Saka Calendar (on which the Hindu Religion Calendar is based) as Nanakshahi Calendar. Interested readers may consult The Hindu Religious Year — by M.M. Underhill (1921).
  3. Thirdly, Mr Purewal spread the canard that Bikrami Calendar is a Hindu calendar and was introduced by a Hindu King of India Vikramaditya Bikrami Calendar had no connection with any Hindu king Vikramaditya, nor Vikramaditya is the name. This is mere a title which was assumed by eight monarchs of India. The first monarch so named was Chandraguptya II (376-414 AD)and this emperor was in constant war with the western India. It is accepted fact that Bikrami Calendar was introduced by the Malwa people of North-west Punjab in 57 BC, i.e., 433 years (57+376) before the first Vikramaditya title was assumed by Chandraguptya of Ujjain (Ancient Malwa and Vikramaditya Tradition by Dr D.C. Sircar, 1969). Thus, Bikrami Calendar was introduced in 57 BC on the land of five rivers in Punjab by a valiant community known as Malwa people, who were inhabitants of the valley of river Ravi. A section of these people migrated to Jaipur, Tonk region of Rajasthan, under pressure of foreign invasions. It was known as Malwa Samvat, which is evident from the historical records. “The era handed down by the Malwa republic” (Ancient Indian History & Culture www.kanpuruniversity.org/syllabus/ma.pdf Political History of Ancient India 325 H.C. – 319 AD. Rise of Mauryas- D.R. Bhandarkar, 1921 (Nos 5, 6, 9). Malwa people carried forward this Calendar to Rajasthan. Originally it started with the month of Katak. Hence, this Calendar is of East Iranian origin and is in use only in North-Western India. The Sikh Gurus accepted this Calendar and modified it according to Sikh ethics to make a Sikh Calendar in true sense, while in Hindu traditions it is known by  the name ‘Vikarmi Samvat’ as Hindus normally use ‘V’ in place of ‘B’. In Sikh religious and historical literature it is known as Bikrami Samvat in accordance with the dialect used in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Dasam Granth and related literature.

Today I am uploading Eight Pages of a manuscript copy of a historical document, prepared by S.Mangal Singh of Lachhmipur (Bihar), a close associate of the revered Guru and witnessed the events of Guru Gobind Singh ji’s last 20 days at Nander Sahib. The document was retrieved from waste by my father in 1963 and his findings were published in The Sikh Review,October 1963,pp.13-38.

Please see last page (No.8) and see that on the Bhog Ceremony of Guru Gobind Singh ji verses from Akal Ustati were recited. Sawayia No 248 is mentioned in the manuscript, and it is most appropriate verse for the occasion. The verse reads:

 

rogan te ar sogan te jal jogan te bahu bhant bachavai.
satr anek chalavat ghav tau tan e na lagan pavai.

Lord God saves His devout in different ways
From ailments, grief and water spirits.
The hostile enemy may strike blows on your body,
But no injury can inflict your body.
When the Gracious Lord protects His devout
Multitude of sins cannot even approach your body.
What else I can say about the Glorious Lord,
Who protects His creatures in the membrane of the
womb.

Now it is the turn of the Nindaks to search Dasam Granth and tell the world what they have to say about this contemporary document making their blatant lies, about Dasam Granth and its authorship, a laughing stock in the world. The perfidy of the Nindaks is exposed and they need a black cloth to cover their faces to avoid public humiliation in the coming days.

(a) It is the document, which in its Invocation talks about Third Panth in the same manner in which Bhai Gurdas-1 and Bhai Gurdas Dakhani talks about in their Ballads, and Guru Gobind Singh talks about in Bachitra Natak.
(b) It is the document which talks about One Divine Spirit in all the ten Gurus, earlier defined by Bhai Gurdas, Bhatts in their verses in Guru Granth Sahib, Bhai Nand Lal in Ganjnamah, Kavi Sainapati in Gursobha, Parchian Sewa Das, and of course by Guru Gobind Singh ji in Bachitra Natak and Var Sri Bhagauti Ji ki, which forms the Invocation of our Congregational Prayer: ARDASA.
(c) It is the only document which gives the the age of the assassin (25 years); his three visits on September 18,19 and 20,1708. It was on the third day September 20,1708 A.D. (Monday) that the assassin attacked the Guru about 6.30. p.m.
(d) It is the first document which reveals that the assassins was known to the Guru.
(e) It is the first document which gives the number of associates of the Pathan assassin to be 700.
(f) It is the first document which highlights the fact that the Surgeon of Bahadur Shah stitched the wounds of the Guru at 10.30 p.m ( two pehars i.e. three hours of the night had passed ).

(g) This is the first document which gives the information that the wound began to heal and for 16 days Guru Sahib came to bless the congregation and the devotees enjoyed his Presence ( Darshan ).
(h) It is the first document which gives detail information about Guru Sahib’s commandment on his ascension ( death ) in the morning of October 7,1708 A.D.,Thursday; his last sermons, time of death ( past midnight ), cremation and last rites.
All the above details have been underlined with orange pen. The interested readers may read the text accordingly.
On the last days of Guru Sahib, Bhai Veer Singh ji and my father ( Dr Trilochan Singh ) saw a manuscript GAUJ KATHA at Hazur Sahib, which is now not available, but a copy of it I have recently found in Sikh Reference Library, Amritsar, and after my return from USA trip I shall be writing a detailed paper on the last days of Guru Gobind Singh ji.

This seal is also used in the Hukamnamas of Mata Sahib Devi, the mother of the Khalsa and not in the Hukamnamas of Mata Sundari Ji.

ਸਤੰਬਰ 1990 ਮੇਲਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਫਰੀਦ ਤੇ ਡਾ.ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਉਂਦਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਦਾਰੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਮੈਂ ਭੁੱਲ ਕੇ ‘ਨੇਮ ਪਲੇਟ’ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਡਾ.ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਘੰਟੀ ਵਜਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਫੜ੍ਹੀ ਖੋਲ਼੍ਹ ਕੇ ਦੇਖੀ ਫਿਰ ਲਿਫਾਫੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਇੰਗ ਰੂਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਬੱਸ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਾਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਮੇਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ।

ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੁੜਨ ਦੀ ਇਜ਼ਾਜ਼ਤ ਮੰਗੀ, ਮੇਰੀ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਨਾ ਰਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੱਫੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁੱਟ ਲਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਨਿਉਂਦਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਐਡੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਜੋਗਾ ਹੋਵਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਡ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫਸਰ ਹਾਂ, ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਡਾ. ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਆਹ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਤਹ ਬੁਲਾਉਣਾ।” ……
ਮੇਰੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰੀ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਿਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਕੁਝ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੀ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਨੈ …. ਮੇਰੀ ਕਲਮ ਤਾਂ ਡਾ.ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਢਾਈ ਸਾਲ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਜੇਬ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਆ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਸੁੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਾਇਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੇਟੇ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ … ਅੱਜ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਬੇੜਾ ਗਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਡਾਲਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਦੇ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਡਾ.ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਨਾਵੀਏਂ DEO ਦੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਮੁੜਨ ਲੱਗਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਮਹਾਨ ਸਕਾਲਰ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਦੀ ਸਟੇਜ ਤੋਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਬੂਝੜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ … ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ USSR ਦੇ ਗੋਰਬਾਚੋਵ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਲੈਕਚਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸੋਵੀਅਤ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਟੁੱਟਿਆ ਤੇ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਵੀ। …..ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਸਟ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੰਦਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਧੁਖਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਨੇ ਐਡੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤੀ।…. ਵਾਕਿਆ ਹੀ ਸੋਵੀਅਤ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਟੋਟੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਖੋਜ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਲਾਇਆ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਥਾਂ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ …. “ਮੈਂਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਹੱਥ ਲਿਖਤ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਗਿਆ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਜੇ ਤੇ ਬੈਠਾ। ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਚਾਹ ਪਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਦ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਫਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਕਰ ਮੂਹਰੇ ਕੁਝ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਬਿਰਧ ਕਾਗ਼ਜ਼ ਉੱਡਦੇ ਦਿੱਸਣ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਨਰਾਜ਼ਗੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਕੂੜੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹੱਥ ਲਿਖਤ ਮੰਗੀ। ਉਸ ਲਿਖਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਚਲਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਅੱਖੀਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਬ੍ਰਿਤਾਂਤ ਮਿਲਿਆ।” ( ਮੈਂ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਕਾਪੀ ਫੇਸ ਬੁੱਕ ਤੇ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹਾਂ – ਲੇਖਕ )
ਏਨੇ ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੇ ਖੋਜੀ ਡਾ.ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਣਮੱਤੀਆਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਖੋਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੇਪਰ, History and Compilation of Dasam Granth, ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ 1954 ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ …. ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਲੜੀਵਾਰ ਫੇਸ ਬੁੱਕ ਤੇ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੇਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਭਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਇਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਚਿੱਟਾ ਦਾਹੜਾ ਨੂਰਾਨੀ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਤਰਲੋਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਦਾ ।
ਨਾਲ ਕਲਮ ਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਦੁੱਸਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਲਲਕਾਰਦਾ ।
ਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਸੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਦੂਰ ਦੀ ਵਾਟ ਮੁਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਖੀਸਾ ਯਾਰ ਦਾ ।
ਗੱਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਸੱਚੋ ਸੱਚ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ।
ਸੀ ਤੀਜਾ ਨੇੱਤਰ ਖੁੱਲਿਆ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਨਾਪਿਆ ਤੁਲਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੇਦ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ।
ਪਾਰਖੂ ਅੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਓਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਓਹ ਚਿੱਤੋਂ ਸੀ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦਾ ।
ਬਹੁਤੀ ਬਾਤ ਕੀ ਆਖਾਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਬਾਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ ਆਪ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ।
ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪੇ ਬੋਲੇ ਜੋ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸੀ ਓਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲੇ ਹਨ ਪੁਤਰ ਨਾਤਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦਾ ।
ਅਜੇ ਹੈ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਅਜੇ ਹੈ ਛਪਣਾ ਬਾਕੀ, ਜੋ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਯਾਰ ਦਾ ।
ਰਣਧੀਰ ਦੀ ਅਰਜ਼ ਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਿੱਖੀ/ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਹੇ ਨਾਤਾ, ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ।
